Information we process

Depending on the features you use, this may include:

• creator and recipient names and relationship choices;
• photos, memory labels, messages and a voice note;
• quiz answers, game choices, creator scores and gift settings;
• AI reference images and generated images, if that feature is offered and selected;
• payment or order references when payments are enabled;
• support requests; and
• limited technical information needed for hosting, security and abuse prevention.

Why we use it

We use this information to create and recover drafts where supported, process media, create requested AI-assisted text or images, process payments when enabled, publish and deliver gifts, provide support, prevent abuse, and maintain the service.

Browser drafts

The Creator may use IndexedDB and local browser storage to preserve draft details, prepared photos and essential recovery settings on the device you use. Clearing browser data can remove that local draft.

Cloud media and gift delivery

Published customer media is stored in private Google Cloud Storage infrastructure configured for MK Gifts. Google does not own your content. MK Gifts uses controlled, time-limited access for delivery and does not make the storage buckets publicly listable.

Gift links are unlisted share-by-link URLs, not password-protected accounts. Anyone who receives the link may be able to open the gift.

AI providers

If you ask MK Gifts to help write a message, necessary context such as names, relationship and living choices, memory labels, tone and the current message may be sent to OpenRouter or another configured AI provider to provide that feature.

If AI image features are offered and selected, chosen reference images may be sent to third-party AI processing infrastructure to generate the requested images. We keep temporary AI-reference copies only as long as reasonably needed to complete and troubleshoot your generation. A storage lifecycle is an additional cleanup safeguard, but it is not a promise of deletion at an exact hour.

Payments

When online payment is enabled, transaction details may be processed by the payment gateway. MK Gifts does not ask you to send a full card number, CVV or OTP to support.

Retention and requests

Gifts may become unavailable at the next Rakhi according to the product promise. Media, backups, security records, payment records and support records can follow separate limited retention periods needed to operate the service, handle disputes and meet legal obligations.
